SIMS DIES IN GOREVILLE Thomas Jefferson Sims, 82, Rt. Goreville, died at 5:45 p. m. Thursday at his home. He was born in Williamson County Dec. 9, 1876. He was the last of six children of the late Mr. and Mrs. Solomon Sims. He was married to Carrie Henderson in Alexander County Oct. 8, 1905, and was a retired farmer. Sims leaves his wife, children, Jesse of St. Petersburg, Fla.; Thomas of Battle Creek, MI; Mrs. Ruby Pritchett and Mrs. Martha Peterman of Goreville; John of Marion, Mrs. Alma Walston of Chino, CA, and Charley of Elkhart, IN; 15 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are incomplete. William Cadle will officiate and burial will be in Cana Cemetery near Creal Springs. Sims died at 5:45 p. m. Thursday at his home.
