- Harvey Young, aged 44 years, died at his home north of Osco Friday at3a.m. following an illness of influenza and pneumonia. <p>The deceased was born in Nelson, Neb., March 19, 1892, and came tothis community with his parents when 13 years old.</p> <p>He married Nellie Sheppard of Mineral on Dec. 28, 1927, in Princeton.Survivors are the widow and two sons, Gordon and Robert, both athome,and his father, John Young of Osco and a brother, Dr. James YoungofAnnawan. <p>Mr. Young was a member of the Orion Masonic lodge. The body wastakento the Wilson funeral home in Annawan.</p> <p>Funeral serviceswere held Monday at the Osco Community church withRev. V. W. Elston officiation. Singers were Mrs. Duane Tomlinson,Miss Irma Scott and Miss Marlene Schlenzen accompanied by Mrs. L. L.Angevine. <p>Pallbearers were G. W. Scott, Chas. Enroth, Chas. Gaessner, RobertBase, William Redman, and Martin Snasten. Burial was at the Gracechurch cemetery northeast of Osco.</p>
