- Fern Louise Holsey, 86, of Geneseo died Friday, January 11, 2008, at Hammond Henry Hospital, Geneseo. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 14th at 10:30 a.m.at Stackhouse-Moore Funeral Services, 225 E. Park St. Geneseo, IL. Rev. Arthur Bergren will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, Geneseo. Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 2 to 5 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Geneseo Ambulance Service. <p></p> <p>Fern Louise Young was born November 21, 1921, in Munson Township, IL, the daughter of Lee J. and Margaret Haack Young. She graduated from Geneseo High School in 1940 and married Joseph Holsey on June 30, 1943 in Longview, TX. He survives. <p></p> <p>Louise was a member of the Munson Center Club, VFW Auxiliary, First Lutheran Church, Geneseo and its Rebecca Circle.</p> <p></p> <p>Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Margaret �Midge� Mariman, and Barbara Holsey; a son, Richard Holsey; six grandchildren and spouses, Sheri Butterfield, Noel Kicksey, Gretchen Watkins, Brian and Tiffany Williams, Michael Mariman, and Eric and Jessica Mariman; several great grandchildren; and a sister, Kathryn Owens. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Frederick and David; and a brother, James.
